Welcome to the First State Amateur Radio Club (K3QBD)

Mission Statement

The mission of the First State Amateur Radio Club (FSARC) is to promote and strengthen the tradition, knowledge, fellowship, and public service of Amateur Radio within New Castle County and throughout the Delaware community.

Founded in February/March 1953, FSARC has proudly served Amateur Radio enthusiasts for more than seven decades. As an association of individuals with diverse interests, skills, and talents, we provide a welcoming environment where members can exchange information, share knowledge, develop their operating skills, and build lasting friendships.

Through educational programs, club activities like the annual ARRL Field Day, Winter Field Day, local fox hunts, community involvement, and opportunities for cooperation and fellowship, FSARC is dedicated to advancing the interests and welfare of Amateur Radio while encouraging responsible, knowledgeable, and effective participation in the hobby.

The club supports the community by providing communications for races, runs, and other large scale events.

Our mission is to preserve the spirit of Amateur Radio, inspire the next generation of radio operators, and serve our community through communication, education, and fellowship.
